This issue of the Arup Journal is designed as a tribute to Ronald Stewart Jenkins who died on 27 December last year.
When Ove Arup set up his own firm of consulting engineers in 1946, Ronald Jenkins joined him there, becoming a Senior Partner in 1949 until his retirement in 1973 when he became a consultant to the firm.
