Water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH)
One of humanity’s most pressing challenges is ensuring universal access to clean water and sanitation. We offer a broad spectrum of services to address water and sanitation needs, from designing guidelines for surface water management in humanitarian contexts to researching linkages between urban sanitation and climate change.
We combine extensive expertise in water and sanitation policy, strategy, design, and implementation with local knowledge and participatory practices to improve health outcomes and support communities in managing water resources. Projects have included a technical assessment of faecal sludge management in the Rohingya camps in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh with Oxfam. The purpose of this assessment was to provide guidance that informed the faecal sludge management strategy within the camps.
For United Nations Office of Project Services (UNOPS), we contributed technical input to guidelines for developing inclusive water, sanitation, and hygiene infrastructure worldwide. These projects exemplify our commitment to providing access to clean water and sanitation in a way that leaves no one behind, protects the environment, and promotes socio-economic development.
We contributed to United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS)' Guidelines for developing inclusive water, sanitation and hygiene infrastructure. These principles were developed in collaboration with the UNOPS, the United Nations Children's Fund, the International Labour Organization and WaterAid.
