Lorna leads the Roads and Streets business in Arup’s UK, India, Middle East and Africa (UKIMEA) region, bringing over 34 years of experience working as a civil engineer across both the public and private sector. Lorna works across the full lifecyle of roads and streets projects, from planning, design, construction and operation.
Lorna is an internationally acclaimed Chartered Civil Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) in the UK, serving as a Reviewer, Supervising Civil Engineer (SCE) and sitting on the Professional Conduct Panel. She is also a member of Engineers without Borders, attending international missions. In May 2023, Lorna was awarded ‘Leading Woman in Infrastructure’ at the Public Private Partnership (PPP) Global Awards and, under her leadership, her team was awarded ‘Technical Advisor of the Year’.
Lorna’s PPP Advisory team spans several UK and European offices and includes roles such as Grantor Advisory, Lenders’ Technical Advisory, SPV Advisory, Independent Engineer, and O&M Advisory, giving her a comprehensive and holistic view of client needs across public and private markets and through an international lens.
