Sina Hassanli
Sina is a fluid dynamicist leading the wind and CFD team at Arup Australasia.
Holding a PhD in urban fluid dynamics and boasting over ten years of experience, he is a strong advocate for bridging theory with practice through collaborations between academia and industry.
He specialises in the impact of wind on the built environment, utilising Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) for various urban applications including microclimate studies, structural wind loading, the interrelated impact of the built environment and aircraft/helicopter operations, aeroacoustics, pollutant and aerosol dispersion, and data centre projects.
