Nuno Ferreira

Nuno has extensive experience in probabilistic service life design and the techno-economic selection of materials for new projects. He specialises in concrete durability, concrete technology, concrete repair, and asset management of concrete infrastructure. His areas of interest include full probabilistic durability design and the development of new and low-carbon cements and concretes for new infrastructure.

Nuno provides due diligence, long-term durability, and service life design advice to asset owners, investors, and contractors managing extensive concrete infrastructure. Prior to joining Arup, Nuno held project and design management roles with heavy civil engineering contractors, delivering transport and energy infrastructure.
