Mike is a Director with Arup Programme and Project Management with 25 years’ experience in delivering projects, programmes and portfolios. Mike is a versatile and results driven programme & project management professional and has fulfilled senior roles for both clients and consultant teams with direct responsibility for portfolios and programmes up to £500m.
He has led large teams providing strategic consulting advice, portfolio and programme management services and project management across a variety of industry sectors.His experience in project delivery covers the complete project lifecycle from inception, development of business cases, capturing user requirements and developing briefs through to design and implementation management and project handover on complex projects and major programmes.
Over the last decade Mike has worked both directly for client organisations and as a consultant providing consultancy services and advice for capital developments. This has included both delivery management and providing tailored best practice advice on governance, investment processes, business cases, organisational structures, team structure and management arrangements, programme delivery strategies, establishing PMO functions and providing programme assurance for major public and private sector capital programmes and portfolios.
