Mark Neller

Within his role, Mark oversees a diverse set of services across the energy system, including electric vehicles, offshore wind, hydrogen and low carbon building energy solutions. He works to bring together experts from across Arup’s engineering, project delivery, economics and stakeholder and consumer insights teams to provide truly holistic integrated solutions for clients across the UKIMEA region. 

Mark has more than twenty years’ experience within the energy sector and my background lies in engineering. He began hiscareer in the gas industry working both up and downstream of the meter, including responsibility for the gas emergency call-out service in his geographic area, as a senior manager at British Gas and Transco. 

Most recently, Mark was part of Arup's Project and Programme Management team leading teams as a Director within the London office. During this time, he led projects including the national transmission network upgrades for London Power Tunnels as well as supporting National Grid’s gas compressor programme.
