Mark Bartlett leads our electrical engineering discipline in Singapore as well as our Science, Industry and Technology businesses across Southeast Asia and Australasia regions.
Joining Arup in 1993, Mark has over 30 years’ experience in leading, designing and delivering projects across many geographies in the UK, Africa, Europe and Southeast Asia.
His experience spans across properties in advanced manufacturing, commercial, healthcare and education sectors as well as mission critical projects in technology and transportation. This includes working with the biggest brands in manufacturing: Dyson Digital Motor Facility in the Philippines, Cadbury Industrial Food Processing Plant in Russia, Jaguar-Land Rover Engine Manufacturing Centre and Rolls Royce Advanced Manufacturing and Technology Facility in the UK. He has also helped shape infrastructure projects including the Metropolitan Rapid Transit in Bangkok and several Equinix data centres worldwide.
Mark is passionate about sustainable advanced manufacturing, Industry 4.0 factories of the future, and the making of things. Over his career, he has taught many graduate electrical engineering programmes and is currently the Australasia Regional Skills Leader for Building Performance.
He is a member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology and a Chartered Electrical Engineer in the UK.
