Isabel Dedring leads Arup’s global transport business and has been a member of the Arup Group Board since 2019.

Prior to joining Arup, she was London’s Deputy Mayor for Transport and Transport for London’s deputy chair. Whilst in her London government post she led a £1bn programme of cycling investment, a £4bn roads investment programme as well as a number of major transport construction projects, including extensions to the London Underground and devolution of rail services. She also led on development of the London Infrastructure Plan 2050. Isabel is a native New Yorker, a qualified lawyer, and a fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers.
