Chaminda is the Technical Lead, Power Systems for Australasia and is responsible for grid connections of solar PV, wind, BESS and other forms of synchronous generators to the power network. wind, offshore wind and BESS. 

Chaminda has experience in in designing and construction of hydro power stations, LV, MV, HV, earthing and lightning protections, construction supervision, contract evaluation, contract negotiation, design review in Australia and overseas.  

With more than 25 years of experience and more than 10 years of power system experience Chaminda has extensive experience delivering various grid connection studies. Chaminda has recently completed a full grid connection study for an offshore wind farm in South Korea. In addition, Chaminda is progressively delivering studies and packages for a solar PV plant and waste to energy generator, while helping other clients to find out best locations for grid connection of solar, onshore wind, offshore wind, and BESS.
