Arshad is the leader for Arup’s UKIMEA Host Cities team specialising in the strategic, technical and delivery assurance for all stages of a major sporting, cultural or business event.

 With more than 25 years’ experience in Transport Planning and Major events, Arshad’s expertise is in the strategic planning, design and delivery of high-profile major events – from international sporting events to world expos. Arshad has spearheaded Arup’s support of some of the biggest events in the world, including the transport planning for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, and the development of sustainable urban mobility strategies in major cities worldwide.
